COVID-19 Foodbank

COVID-19 Foodbank

Wondering how you can help those in need during this time?

To help support our community during this challenging time, we’ve established an emergency foodbank with the Bo’ness & Blackness Community Response Team. You can find more details, including referral forms, on their website.

If you’d like to support the foodbank, we’ve setup a safe drop off zone for donations in the Old Kirk carpark on church road every Monday and Friday between 1pm and 3pm.

All donations are very much welcome but we’ll update this page daily with a list of items which the Community Pantry is a bit short of. This week, the pantry is running low on:

🥫tinned foods (tuna, baked beans etc)
🍬sweets and treats
🍮puddings
🍝pasta sauce

Whether you’re travelling by car or by foot, simply drop off any donations in the tubs provided. Please follow any instructions given by our Team and maintain social distancing rules at all times so everyone can stay safe.
There’s an amazing team of volunteers involved and your support is greatly appreciated in these challenging times. ❤️

We realise this time doesn’t suit everyone but it means that the donations can be processed in bulk on the same day. This helps us minimise social contact and the numbers of volunteers ensuring that everyone stays safe.
