TeamBuilders, our Summer Holiday Club takes place from Monday 23 to Friday 27 July followed by our celebration Closing Ceremony & BBQ extravaganza on Sunday 29 July.

This year’s Holiday Club has a sports theme so we’re inviting athletes and competitors to join us at the Old Kirk Stadium for our biggest Holiday Club yet! Sports not your thing? Don’t worry, we won’t be making you do 100 metre sprints!

TeamBuilders is fully booked! With over 100 bookings in just half an hour, we had an amazing response – thank you!!!

If you didn’t get a place then don’t worry, we always try to make extra spaces available where possible. If you’d like to join our waiting list, please email Diane

We’re on the final countdown to TeamBuilders so click the link above for all the latest info including details of our competitions.  And make sure to check out our Facebook page for pictures and videos throughout Holiday Club week.

It promises to be another packed week of noise, music, mess and mayhem!

Men of Faith

Men of Faith is our fellowship group open to males from any denomination across Bo’ness and the wider area. We meet on the 1st Saturday of every month at 9am to enjoy a hearty breakfast followed by praise and a short talk.

We next meet for breakfast and praise on Saturday 7 July at 9am.

We have a great bunch of regulars from various denominations, church backgrounds or neither and our invitation remains open to everyone. So if you fancy something different to start your weekend (or don’t have anything in for breakfast!) then come give us a visit.

Click our logo or here for more information.

guildThe Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland for both women and men and has been part of the life of the Old Kirk for over 100 years.

We welcome all who would wish to join us at our meetings, regardless of gender, age or anything else. We meet every fortnight at 2pm in the West Room and promise a warm welcome!

We next meet on Wednesday 1 August at 2pm.

Rag Bag Collection

Do you have any old clothing that you’re looking to get rid of? Then don’t throw them in the bin, bring them to Church instead!

We now have a Rag Bag Collection point outside the church office for any textile items that you wish to recycle. Items must be bagged and can include clothing, paired shoes, bags and belts. For each kilo donated, the Old Kirk will receive 40p which will go towards church funds.

The box will be available throughout Holiday Club week so any donations are welcome!

Youth Group

Are you in S1+? Are you bored on a Sunday night? Need somewhere to hang out with your friends? Then we can help!

Our Youth Group meets every Sunday from 7pm to 9pm in the Hall.

Music, Snacks, Outings, Ping Pong, Pool and much more!

We’re on a break over the Summer Holidays. We’ll be announcing our restart date soon.

Drivers needed!

If you’ve been out and about in Bo’ness, the chances are that you’ve seen our minibus on its travels!

As well as providing free transport to our services and events, the minibus is used by various organisations throughout the week. This, of course, wouldn’t be possible without our great team of volunteers. But we’re always on the lookout for more helpers!

If you have a driving licence (which includes a D1 licence) and some spare time now and again, why not help out? We’ll even let you choose which radio station to put on the stereo!

To find out more, please contact us or speak to Scott Nicol after Sunday worship.

Elderly Friendship Group

Looking for some company? Fancy a blether with a cuppa? Or want to join in a singalong of some old favourites?  Then our new Wednesday Morning group might be for you.

Loneliness is an increasing issue for people as they get older so we’re delighted to be helping Deanburn Primary School in an effort to tackle this.  We meet every second Wednesday for a fun morning of activities led by the children including a snack and time to chat and unwind.

We’re having a break over the School Holidays. Dates of our next meetings will be announced soon.
