One Life. What’s it all about?
Christianity Explored gives people time and space to think about the big questions of life and to explore the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith, Jesus Christ.
Over 7 weeks, guests journey through the Gospel of Mark exploring the identity, mission and call of Jesus – who he is, why he came and what it means to follow him. There is plenty of time to ask questions and discuss the claims of Jesus and their implications for our lives. Each session begins with a light meal. This is then followed by a video presentation and discussion time. You will not be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.
The course is usually held in comfortable surroundings of the West Room in the Old Kirk and run over seven evenings with a day event on a Saturday. There is no charge for this but we welcome any donations towards our costs. We do not ask you to sign up to attend the whole course but we would just love you to come along and see how you get on.
