Sole Nominee

We’re delighted to announce that Rev Amanda MacQuarrie has accepted the invitation of our Nominating Committee to preach as sole nominee here at the Old Kirk.

Amanda will be leading worship on Sunday 30th October at 10.45am and all are invited to meet Amanda and to hear her preach. If you are a member of the Old Kirk, or an adherent, then we would ask that you please make a special effort to attend this service as a vote will take place immediately afterwards with regards to Amanda becoming our new minister. If you are unsure if you are eligible to vote then please contact the church office.

We look forward to introducing you all to Amanda on the 30th.

So no Holiday Club until 2017?   WRONG!

Yes, that’s right – Showstoppers is back for a special event ‘Hollywood Harvest’ on Saturday 5 November followed by a special celebration and buffet on Sunday 6 November (well it is Harvest after all!).

We’re also running a special Christmas themed event ‘Snowstoppers!’ on Sat 3 & Sun 4 DecemberBoth events run from 10.30 to 12.30 each day and you can book for either or both on our booking site- but be quick as we only have a couple of spaces left!

After all the amazing feedback from our summer event, the Holiday Club team are planning some really special surprises to wrap off the year. So expect all your Holiday Club favourites including music, mayhem, crafts and so much more! If you can’t wait until Holiday Club 2017, or want to see what all the fuss is about, then this is the event for you! Click here for more information!

Places for our Holiday Clubs go fast (fully booked within 1 hour last time!) so please book early to avoid disappointment. As Hollywood Harvest is a slightly different format from our summer Holiday Clubs, places are very limited so you need to be fast!🏃

Once you’ve booked, we’ll follow it up with an email confirming your booking (please allow 24 hours for this). And that’s all you need to do! You can sit back and look forward to a weekend packed with all your Holiday Club favourites and some special surprises. But in the meantime, check out the video below to see what we got up to last time….
